How Does Online Ordering Work?
When will I get my order?
Once you've placed an order, it will be packed in a boomerang bag and placed in your child's teacher's tub for the teacher to collect and distribute. It is very important for you to include your child's name and class on the order. You may utilise the notes section for this, or even put these details as part of your address details.
Orders are not processed daily, currently they are being processed twice a week, on a Tuesday and Thursday, however these days are subject to change. The shop is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who also have work, study, and family commitments. Your child's teacher may not check their tub every day, or may check it before orders have been processed, so if it takes a couple of days for your order to get to you, don't panic!
Please remember to return your boomerang bags so we can reuse them.
I have a problem with my order/I need to exchange something...
The best way to sort out a problem or exchange is to contact us via the uniform shop email: email@example.com
Why am I getting charged for "fee recovery"?
Unfortunately, online credit card sales attract a transaction fee, and the higher the cost of the order, the higher the fee as it is charged as a percentage of the sale. These fees need to be paid for either with P&C funds, or charged back to the customer as part of the sale.
Uniform shop sales account for a good amount of fundraising for the P&C, and with the current pandemic, have been the only source of income for the P&C for 2020 so far. The P&C recently voted to pass on most of the cost of the transaction fee to the customer to maximise the funds available to the P&C.
It is not possible for us to pass on the entire fee, and we have tried to keep this fee as low as possible. To avoid paying these fees, you can visit the uniform shop when it is open and buy in person. The P&C thanks you for your ongoing support.
